Micro-OLED Panels

Micro OLED is a type of display technology that has gained popularity due to its high resolution, brightness, contrast ratio, and power efficiency. This technology is similar to traditional OLED displays but is smaller in size and contains millions of tiny pixels.

The principles behind Micro OLED are based on the electroluminescent properties of organic materials. In a Micro OLED, an organic material is sandwiched between two electrodes, and when an electric current is passed through the material, it emits light. The light emitted from each pixel can be independently controlled, allowing for the creation of highly detailed images.

One of the key advantages of Micro OLED technology is its power efficiency. Because each pixel can be independently controlled, only the necessary pixels are illuminated, reducing overall power consumption. Additionally, Micro OLED technology does not require a backlight, further reducing power consumption.

Another advantage of Micro OLED technology is its high resolution. The tiny pixels in a Micro OLED display allow for significantly higher pixel densities than traditional displays, resulting in sharper and more detailed images.

Micro OLEDs are available in a variety of sizes, with some common sizes including 0.39 inches, 0.49 inches, 0.68/0.7 inches, 1.03 inches, and 1.3-1.4 inches. These sizes make Micro OLEDs ideal for use in AR glasses or VR glasses.
